Heathfield Road, Wandsworth

Heathfield Road is a 17 unit residential scheme on a corner site facing Wandsworth Common that slopes down towards busy railway lines at the rear. We were approached by the developers to obtain planning permission as several previous planning applications had been refused due to the sensitive nature of the site requiring the removal of several mature trees.  It comprises of a five storey residential tower and two storey units with grass roofs that descend the slope punctuated by a roundhouse at the rear. Planning permission was gained in 2004 in conjunction with Edward Potter Associates.  The detail drawings and construction was undertaken by the developers themselves.
