Jerningham Road

Jerningham Road is situated in the Telegraph Hill Conservation area and planning consent was obtained to create a ground floor extension and loft extension to include a recessed balcony.  The client was keen to bring light into the heart of the house and maximise the panoramic views to towards the city.

 

The basement was opened up to incorporate a central kitchen and dining area with a glazed roof and glass door opening to the garden.  A new roof light runs the length of the new stair bringing light into the depths of the house as well as permitting views over the city from the shower room’s one way view glass wall.
