Wyvil School, Vauxhall
Phase 1: Completed September 2009
Phase 2: Planning permission obtained 2009
Phase 1: This Victorian school required a remodelling of the foundation years classrooms. One of the classrooms was dark, long and narrow. A greater sense of space and increased natural light was achieved with the installation of a large sound proof window on the corridor wall. Both classrooms were refurbished with new shelving and storage.

Phase 2: A modern extension to the two reception classes accommodating new play and external learning area made from glass, a zinc roof, roof lights and block coloured walls. Its modern material arrangement contrasts sensitively with the original Victorian brick building whilst simultaneously complimenting it.
Planning permission obtained September 2009.
